Integration

After my experience in 2005 it took almost 3 years to begin to feel like I was part of the human race again. Through trial and error I stumbled through, trying this and trying that until I began to discover what worked for me. If you have experienced some kind of shift in consciousness that has required you to seek ways to integrate yourself back into the world please post your comments I am sure we would all like to know what has worked for others.

Blessings to you all

Hi JC
I've just listened to your interview with Damien Senn and felt drawn to share with you. My experience has been that I've been on a spiritual quest for the last 20 or so years and having read masses of books, attended seminars etc etc. I've found that no one mentioned that spiritual enlightenment may cause you to face great difficulty and loss in your life. I found my 2 marriages have ended and i've lost contact with several family members and friends because of the lack of connection I've felt on a spiritual level. This has been in part due to others inability to understand my needs and also my inability to explain my differences in belief systems, values, ego beliefs, desires etc.
Reading back on what I've just written here you could jump to the conclusion I'm unhappy but to the contrary because of my spiritual growth and connection to Divine spirit I feel very content and happy in myself and am at peace with life and trusting of God, spirit and the Universe but as you so astutely pointed out, you do feel alone..... unless you can find someone of the same ilk to connect with.
I suppose that's why I've felt drawn to converse, to let you know and me know that there is someone else out there who understands! (smiles)
Namaste, in blessings, love and light

Dear Kim

Thank you for your comments and yes you are right not many mention that real serious spiritual development is a ladder into the pit first. I also understand why many do not want to travel that path. It is only through the pain of my life that I keep looking for a better way and began to learn the art of surrender. Great stuff thank you.
