Costumes
My six year old son asked me the other day if it would be alright to talk about God.
I said sure what are your thoughts on the matter.
He said, I believe that all people walked around wearing costumes and when they die their costumes fall off.
I said James I have never heard it put that way before, would it be ok to share your thoughts with my friends.
He said OK.

Hi JC. What a wonderful way of expressing life your son has! Children have the amazing gift of uncomplicating things. To me it goes something like this. We are born into this amazing world in perfect form with a crystal clear view of the world around us. Then we start to be conditioned and scripted by those around us. Each layer of conditioning and scripting buries the real us deeper inside. We take on everyone else's identity and needs and put them before our own. Some of us are awake enough to notice this, some are not so fortunate. God/the universe will remind us from time to time who we really are. If we are awake to these messages then we wake up some more and develop a higher level of consciousness. However, some of us need to be driven over by a 16 wheeler truck before we wake up! I have had my 16 wheeler moments and have chosen to wake up and see the real me for who I am. I like the real me now. I definitely didn't before. It is my belief that we are all born unlimited and are only limited by the limitations we impose on ourselves. Once we take responsibility for the choices we have made, only then can we become fully awake and start living without judgement of ourselves and all those around us. We live in a world where so many people are asleep just following the scripts and needs of others. As my great friend Richard Wilkins says< "we are all superheroes pretending to be ordinary" I love that idea! I am in no way perfect, but I enjoy being me and try to be kind to everyone that comes into my life. I would be interested to hear others views on this.
